Manish Kumar Meel

Food Safety Specialist

Manish Meel is a member of TAG India. He holds experience in supply chain management and biotechnology lab techniques including DNA, RNA, and protein isolation, microbiology, and tissue culture.

Manish holds a Master of Technology in Food Supply Chain Management from the Institute of National Importance NIFTEM-K. Prior to that, he completed a Bachelor of Technology, specializing in Biotechnology, from Lovely Professional University. He has achieved an All-India rank of 81 out of 25,000 students in a national-level examination held for admission to master courses. Along with academic excellence, Manish has organized and managed many international-level events, such as the Indian Science Congress where scientists from different sectors, including food science, gather to share ideas from a global perspective. He has also assisted companies in the hiring process by identifying their specific needs and recommending students based on their education, competency, and qualification.

As a Food Safety Specialist, Manish supports clients based in India, with key expertise in sesame seed, spice, and fish & fishery (including aquaculture) processing and manufacturing. In his current role, he is actively working on HACCP, preventive controls, root cause analysis, traceability, biosecurity, phytosanitary, GMPs, and FDA Import Alerts.

Manish resides in India and in his free time enjoys music, exploring different places, and sports like cricket. He is highly motivated to make a positive impact on society with a passion for continuous learning and sharing his knowledge with others.
