Kevin Steward has over 25 years of professional experience in food manufacturing. Working in food safety, quality and other regulatory compliance-related fields, he has held leadership roles responsible for food safety, quality, HACCP implementations, and process improvement. Kevin is a believer that a strong culture needs to exist for successful food safety systems, no matter what scheme you choose.
After serving in the United States Air Force, Kevin began his career in manufacturing in a non-food sector where he worked in safety & environmental compliance and quality management systems. He then transferred this knowledge to food, providing quality management and food safety expertise to companies such as Coca-Cola Enterprises, Bigelow Tea, 4C Foods, Boxed Inc., and BH Coffee.
Kevin holds a BS in Quality Management Systems & Six Sigma certification, is HACCP and PCQI certified and a SQF practitioner. He has hands-on experience implementing GFSI schemes (BRCGS, SQF, and FSSC-22000) with distribution and manufacturing organizations.
Kevin likes to explore new places, walk, bike for miles for pleasure or competition and find that small café with a great cup of coffee.
