SUMMARY:Webinar: The Psychology of Product Allergen Labeling
DESCRIPTION:Precautionary allergen statements may be doing your brand more harm than good. Every day\, 32 million Americans who suffer from food allergies – and their families – must stay vigilant about the foods they eat at every meal and every snack. Some may suffer from minor\, subjective reactions while others can have an anaphylactic reaction or even die.  Despite this\, because of the distrust the allergic population has of product labels\, primarily due to the proliferation of precautionary allergen labeling\, many take dangerous risks when it comes to food.  This webinar provides insight into how the food allergic community views precautionary allergen statements and how the industry can start to regain their trust by taking a risk-based approach to finished product labeling. \nJoin TAG’s Director of Food Safety\, Brent Kobielush\, Ph.D.\,  and SafetyChain for FSMA Friday on February 25\, 2022\, as they explore the risks with product allergen labeling. \nRegister today

SUMMARY:Webinar: Chemophobia - Misconceptions\, Risks & Hazards
DESCRIPTION:Today\, more than ever\, chemicals are a hot topic when it comes to food. Whether it’s arsenic in rice\, pesticides on fruits and vegetables\, or BPA in soup cans\, chemicals are everywhere. “Clean label” initiatives have swept through the marketplace. But why is everyone leery of chemicals? How can we put chemicals in perspective and quiet customers’ concerns? How should we talk about them? More importantly\, how do we quantify and address risk when it comes to chemical exposure? \nJoin TAG’s Director of Food Safety\, Brent Kobielush\, Ph.D.\,  and SafetyChain for FSMA Friday on January 28\, 2022\, as they explore these questions and many more. \nRegister today
